The only tractors in this building at any time are either the snow horses waiting to be put to use or repairs and maintenance in the back shop. There will be a full size swing out door built into the front of the building. Possibly a small one in the back. Doubtful that we will use a crane or lift of any kind but that is open to change in the future. There's nothing that needs to be upstairs that we can't bring up manually. You mean nothing Trina can.t bring up manually. 1

ebinmaine 67,413 #303 Posted October 14, 2022 The crew got us some sliding rolling doors built today. Both fronts are done. The frame for the rear is built. 2
ebinmaine 67,413 #304 Posted October 18, 2022 Yesterday we came home to find that the left side shed roof and left side vertical roof were both completely covered with sheet metal roofing. The right side vertical roof is around half done. It's raining this morning so I imagine they will be working undercover finishing up the back sliding door by adding the pine boards to the frame that they built last week. Maybe if the rain lets off they'll finish the roof up. 6
ebinmaine 67,413 #305 Posted October 18, 2022 Well the rain never did completely cease so the fellas spent today finishing up the siding on the right side. They also got a great amount done towards the framework of the back wall. There will be 3 windows here going pretty much from one side to the other. 5

The BBT hasn't seen them installing the vertical areas yet. 36 minutes ago, JoeM said: Sure is a nice shanty EB! Fits right into the surroundings. Thanks Joe! That is certainly the idea. We were careful to choose location and angles and colors to enhance the acreage.

Just a bucket with some holes in the bottom, hanging from a tree limb works just fine. You'd only need to use it once a month or so, right?

ebinmaine 67,413 #325 Posted October 19, 2022 Today the fellas finished up the framing on the back wall then moved to working on the metal roofing. All the panels are on. The ridge cap and trim needs to be installed. These pics weren't taken til after dark so excuse the odd lighting.
