Then it comes to just working with it before winter.. If I may suggest, fluid filling your new ags will make a huge world of difference in traction! 3
S416-8 325 #56 Posted June 21, 2022 ok.. never filled tires before so what so you use? I've seen the stuff at tractor supply but thought that would also kill any chance of new rubber down the road...

I've seen the stuff at tractor supply but thought that would also kill any chance of new rubber down the road... I used Wally World Winter grade windshield washer. I still have 5 or so bottles left. They filled the tires of a 516H. About 6-7 bottles per side. Huge difference on the downgrade capabilities when mowing. You can fill them by gravity and by strapping the tire. Takes a while but that's about as cheap as it gets. Oh, one tire is tubed and the other not and no leaks in a year's time. 1

I like my 855 a lot, but the umph of a bigger engine would be nice from time to time. And as much as I prefer manual transmissions for most things, the hydros really do cut better because it's easier to slow for the turns.
S416-8 325 #64 Posted June 24, 2022 I'm still learning about these but can always be like Tim Taylor in the old Tool Time show in saying "More Power - Good!"

Those old Start/Gen`s are still good workers. But that one was not just a show piece.
