ok.. never filled tires before so what so you use? I've seen the stuff at tractor supply but thought that would also kill any chance of new rubber down the road...

I used Wally World Winter grade windshield washer. I still have 5 or so bottles left. They filled the tires of a 516H. About 6-7 bottles per side. Huge difference on the downgrade capabilities when mowing. You can fill them by gravity and by strapping the tire. Takes a while but that's about as cheap as it gets. Oh, one tire is tubed and the other not and no leaks in a year's time.

You know boys... we have a wide variety of... well... unadulterated toughness 'round here... stock, modified... fully custom... etc...

 

When the dude next door with the Kubota tips his hat... you know... Wheel Horses of any breed are awesome...

 

Toughness... well, they are all pretty tough!

I would so love to have one of those.

 

I like my 855 a lot, but the umph of a bigger engine would be nice from time to time. And as much as I prefer manual transmissions for most things, the hydros really do cut better because it's easier to slow for the turns.

Thanks for the reply. Those old Start/Gen`s are still good workers. But that one was not just a show piece.

Cannot go wrong with a good running 8 to 16 hp K or magnum engine tractors.
