Never forget the sacrifices that these brave veterans made to ensure the freedom of people all over the world. German solders also died in an attempt to carry out the wishes of Adolph Hitler. During the Battle of Normandy over 425,000 Allied and German troops were killed, wounded or went missing. Handy Don 12,215 #6 Posted June 7, 2022 My wife and I visited Normandy for the 75th in 2019. Indescribable. This past Easter we led a group of H.S. students back there as part of a larger UK/France tour. The impact for them is not the same, of course, it's kinda ancient history for 15-18 year olds, but with the Ukraine invasion in the background, they did, I think, sense the scale and gravity of that event. One day we met with a Frenchman who was a boy in '44 and still lives on his family's farm a mile or so inland from the beaches. He had pictures of the farm's buildings being used by both German and Allied forces and in his yard is a memorial erected by a US Army unit a couple weeks after D-Day that the family still tends. 5 2 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In deepest honest. It appears it be we have an idiot here close aside, that keeps us permanently reminded to that. can be compared to A.H. Because of similar mindset. He is about 700km far, That f**** idiot begins a War in 2022. Luckily he is not very good and his soldiers they blamed themselves hardly. i learned from my Grandpa i have just 3 responsibilities never again such a madness, Resist the beginnings Fight for your Rights and freedom.
