I found that this machine takes a Transmission drive belt 8334 - (B x 84.8" or 5/8" x 84.8") per the manuals section.  I’ll look to see if I have a NOS belt, but otherwise I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find an 84.8” belt.  Do I go 84” or 85”?  @gwest_ca?

I have used a Kevlar 5/8 X 85" (5L-850) (B-82) from tractor supply on mine with good results.

The snowmotractor could use a 1” shorter belt, if not 2”.  It has an 84” belt on it.  I might just try that on the GT14 and see if it works well or not :handgestures-thumbupright:

The worst that could happen is you find out it won't work and spent a couple minutes trying.

The 84” is working swimmingly!

It’s pretty amazing what a ‘63 and ‘69 are still capable of!  The surrounding weed growth is from 2 years of no garden plot.  I dragged it a bit with the cultivator, plowed, disced, cultivated, then tilled.  Probably could cultivate once more before sticking the ‘maters in!

On the end of my first pass, my lower lift pin was in the way of the steering fan gear, so I couldn’t turn left.  I need to swap the pins, the second one I made on the rear is much shorter.

Outstanding work.  And the video quality is always improved by mounting the camera on a Wheel Horse, too!  Nice.

Couldn't turn LEFT.     :scared-eek:     How tragic for a stock car racer to not be able to turn left.     :auto-swerve:

@ebinmaine I suspected you’d appreciate that.  But how about this Hosen Puller guy, anyway?  How on earth does he do it?

He makes things look so easy!

Very nice! I've got 2 gt14's and would love find a tiller for one! Very strong and capable tractors. I made both my 3 points independent from my mid lift. I can mow lawn and move trailers with out even leaving my seat!

@jeremi3210 I’m guessing those ags are 953 wheels and tires?  Mind sharing the details of the other ones?

So I’ve owned a couple D series and a couple 1054’s and although they are “bigger” they seem to lack room for the operator. They feel cramped. I think my C series machines are more comfy.
How does the GT-14 compare? Leg room and comfort?

Yes the 6.70 15 ags were a set of 953 wheels I had picked up cheap! The others are skid steer wheels I mounted on gt14 rims. Ag tires are almost impossible to find in that size unless you run across some old ones. Can't remember the size off hand but they are correct for the tractor.

Well… you’re asking a little short guy if there’s enough room!

They have cool little notched plates on the back of the seat to be able to lift the seat, move it forward or backward then set it into another notch.  For now, I took the seat off and tossed a steel pan over the hydro hole.  I thought about adding a 953 style seat and backrest :handgestures-thumbupright:

LOL!
  Didn’t consider that
I’m 6-1” and kinda long in the leg so I feel cramped on some machines.
Maybe I’ll find some kind soul at the show that will let me sit on their GT-14!

The girls visited me in the shop last night.  When momma’s out of town, they do a pretty good job making sure I eat, drink, sleep, etc.  We discussed Colt’s exhaust system.  It sounds great but blows straight down… not my favorite.  I think we (they) decided that we will for sure utilize “Steve”s old tailpipe.  It might take a couple cuts and turns and welds, but it’s pretty much all there!  Remember too that there is a home built muffler inside this pipe.

Them tires are 27 8.50 15 skid steer. I've found them at flea markets pretty cheap. Seem to get great traction Jacob was plowing with them on his 953 at Jim's last year and the year before with no problems!

I have a tiller I'd sell ya but I am in Idaho. Not sure when I would next end up driving east but I do have the goal of hitting the show next year.
