bork 0 #1 Posted July 5, 2009 Or is it 38-16 ? When I start up & push go pedal, there is a gringing noise & doesnt ingage to go foward . Same with reverse. I tried diffrerent rpm but same. Works good once it gets going. My brother tells me to run engine wide open when mowing & use the go pedal for the speed. Is this wearing out the clutch, or is this a diferent type of system. Should I be adjusting something? Is this the right place to post on a newer model? I think it is a 1999ish. If this is the wrong forum can anyone redirect me please. ON EDIT; found out it was not a XRL but a HXL. & a guy helped me id in the main wheel horse tractor section, with link & manual downloads. so hopefully I'll get it figured out.
