I just use Marvel Mystery oil. Wipe it on let it set wipe off any excess. It last for a while. Quick and easy.

This will not pass muster in PA. For a motor vehicle to be certified safe for use in Pennsylvania all wheel retaining hardware must be installed, as originally equipped, in the correct type and quantity, or matching another certified configuration (ie, you are allowed to swap a lug bolt setup to studs and nuts).
