Tires and rims for 1977 C-120

Recommended Posts

Winkster

Hi fellas;

Looking to find rear tires and front tire with rims.  I believe I'm looking for 23x8.5-12 for rear and 16x6.5-8 with rims for the fronts,  Do I have the sizes right?  Where is a good place to get these?  I'm in Milwaukee, WI but don't mind getting them shipped.

I have two NEW front tires...on good rims..  16x6.5x8.  These tires STILL have the mold '****' on them. (can't see in pics)

I am in n/w PA st zip 16433 and can ship...on your dime.

From the same C-120, I can get pics of the back tires/riims too...

Here are more pics of the C-120 wheels and tires.  As noted, the front 16x6.5x8 tires are NEW...still with mold ****.

Rims are a bit dirty and will clean up before shipping.  Same with back wheels...dirty as h...

Rear tires are 23x8.5x12 and both rims are good..though greasy/dirty.  Will clean up.

All tires hold air and I havent noticed any leak-down.

Certainly interested, but I have no idea what shipping would run.  I don't need the rear rims but for the sake of simplicity I'd take the package.  I'll check with the local freight guys on a price.  Fill the tires with helium!

What would you like for the package?

Jeff, you got it all wrong, Dave is changing the transmission fluid! :ychain:   We always tell people to get the front end higher to ensure proper draining.

The cheapest NEW fr tire 16x6.5x8 I've found is $35 each (China)... These tires are Carlisle...MADE IN USA.   So, on a good rim, each front ought to get $60...or $120 for the pair trire on wheel/rim.  I'd ship this box (16x16x16---35lb) via USPS ($62) 16433 to 53130...or FedEx ($45).  SO... for the FRONT wheels & tires only, I'd need $145...via Paypal as 'Send Money to Friend'.   I will, of course, consider all REASONABLE offers...

Hi Dave;

I'm actually at 53130 (actually one block west).  Please check your shipping price to be sure.  We're close to a deal

My name is Dave too:D

How about the seat?  Yours looks really good compare to mine.  I realize bigger box and more freight.  Lemme know

My bad...  (typo 35130.. fixed to 53130)  The FedEx rate from 16433 to 53130 is approx $45.  So, I'm still at $145...unchanged from earlier message.   Of course,...and as before...a REASONALBE offers is considered.

Hi Dave;

How's $130 for tires and rims or $160 with the seat?  Yours is not torn up like mine.

That is a Michigan seat has no tears at all, just a dent in the back of...can be sraightened.  TSC sell similar for $70 to $95 so, no... I can't let it go for $30 bux.  Here is a low-back seat you can have for $20...but will probably ship it separately...OR the box for tires/rims just got lots bigger...which will be a high ship charge for tires on rims..with seat shown here.

For the NEW tires on rims....I would accept your $130 offer...IF.... paid by Paypal as "Send Money to Friends".

My Paypal account name is:  daveoman@windstream.net

Front wheels/ tires are SOLD.

Rear Tires 23x8.5x12 on rims are AVAILABLE.  No dry-rot, but one tire has scuffs on sidewall...not detrimental.

Rims are in great shape...not rusted on bent.  Both hold are and no leak-down.
