Sailman 1,291 #1 Posted May 14, 2022 I sincerely appreciate all the great folks on this site and how they look out for one another in maintaining and preserving these great little tractors...honest! But..... sometimes ya just gotta stir the hornets nest..... just for the fun of it... Take a look at this "poor" wheel horse and tell me what ya think!! Keep it family friendly, nothing x rated! Disclaimer; I will not be held responsible for "heart attacks", "strokes" or "moments of "temporary insanity"...... 7 1 1 3

kpinnc 12,026 #9 Posted May 14, 2022 Finally! Something green and yellow that I would consider restoring to what it should be! Tractors are like watermelon: you enjoy the red and throw away the green... 6 1

Retired Wrencher 5,455 #15 Posted May 14, 2022 Nothing like some good sand blasting will cure and decals. I agree that seat is crazy.
edgro 677 #16 Posted May 14, 2022 How about the correct wheel horse stickers, only in the green/yellow colors.
ri702bill 8,319 #17 Posted May 14, 2022 That's a right fine "proof coat" of color on the tin & wheels - perfect for sanding to find low spots before breaking out the Regal Red & Linen Beige. Can you actually reach the pedal?? Name that tractor "Charlene", reminds me of the lyrics in Joe Diffie's "John Deere Green" song - "And the whole town said, the fool should have used Red, but it looked good to Charlene, in John Deere Green".

953 nut 55,226 #22 Posted May 14, 2022 Here is a horse of another shade of green I saw a couple years back, some Oliver enthusiasts thought for sure it was the real thing, it was REAL but it wasn't actually THING they were thinking it was. The home made mini-orchard tractor next to the Wheel Horse Oliver is a real crowd pleaser. Very well executed build. 4 3
