I know this is mid 60s logo. Perhaps put on at dealer. Has anyone seen this logo on this style wagon?

Hard saying what a dealer would do to make a sale.  At some point in it’s life (late 70’s?) this RS-83 Ride Away Senior was traded in for new and repainted to “today’s new” scheme.

This is Funny, In a Hotel Room? Do you happen to know the year on yours? I figure 65-67 was most likely the years for this decal.

@wh315-8  That picture was taken in 2011.  John and I went to Ricky V's auction in Missouri to pick it up.  I would think there is a thread back in the Spring of 2011, but I did not find it.  I do not remember what year that wagon is from, only that is was NOS.  Maybe somebody can find that thread from Rick's auction...I would think we mention the year of that trailer there.  :occasion-xmas:  Search "content" for Birly1 and/or Stevasaurus March, April, May 2011.??

The story behind the motel room...we picked it up in KC, Mo. the night before the auction, which was south of Jefferson City.  We did not want to haul it to the auction, so we got permission to store it in the room for the Saturday auction.  We had to take pictures of that.  John has passed now, I am not sure what he did with the trailer.

I'm not sure why Pullstart is showing you Seniors...the were made in the garage by the Ponds...none of them were the same.

That decal you have is original, and they did use it for at least one year.  Did you check out "Manual" section??  An IPL my show the decal that was used.

My understanding was that the decal in question was possibly different than other wagons, possibly a dealer swap.  Dealers did what they needed to make sales, even if it’s restoring a Senior to “new” late 70’s paint schemes…

I don’t know if this would help with years as mine is different decal but the guy that sold it to us said from the serial number he said to the best of his Knowledge it was a 1962

I knew what you were getting at about showing Seniors about Decals.. besides it is always great to see pictures of Seniors. I recently seen an A91 Special, had a 60s hood with 70s decals. Thought it was redone wrong, found out it was a Special using up those old hoods and excess parts and the 70s decal was correct.

Wished serial numbers were setup to show dates back than. But my understanding is they just pulled from a stash of them. But your logo is consistent with the manuals for early 60s.
