RonnieB2nd 33 #1 Posted May 12, 2022 Is there an attachment I have to buy to use the rear PTO? Say I wanna plow and need to lift it up and down etc..I'm a new owner and would like to know what alll I need to take advantage of the rear PTO option instead of just pulling. Thanks
Handy Don 12,174 #2 Posted May 12, 2022 Welcome. I'll help a lot to know the year and model of your tractor and, ideally, a picture of what's on the back now. Pretty much all WH's are capable of a liftable rear hitch for a plow--some came with it already installed and some need it added.
Pullstart 62,812 #3 Posted May 12, 2022 My guess is that it’s a 520H, based on previous posts. @RonnieB2nd there isn’t really a rear PTO, but there is a lift hitch for single bottom plows, cultivators, etc. is that what you mean?

Pullstart 62,812 #6 Posted May 12, 2022 Some pictures of the back of your transmission might help us determine what is needed to make it work. Do you have a plow in mind, or do you need that too?
Handy Don 12,174 #7 Posted May 12, 2022 When you are looking at the back of your tractor, get a picture from low down looking up and into the area under the fender and the "slot" between the two sides of the fuel tank.
