It is the tension pulley.  When you let out the clutch pedal, the tension pulley takes the slack out of the drive belt and the engine turns the transmission input pulley.  Why do you think it needs replaced??  :eusa-think:

The guide piece looks to be ripped a little.  It is scrapping the drive belt???

If the pulley is good...ie. the bearing in the pulley is OK, it is fine.  You do know that the belt guard needs to be in place for everything to work without grinding gears?  The belt guard is actually your clutch.  When you push in the clutch pedal, the tension pulley allows the drive belt to get slack in it.  The belt guard funnels that slack toward the engine drive pulley, thus allowing the transmission input pulley to stop rotating.  Once the input pulley stops, you can shift gears without grinding.  :occasion-xmas:

@Achto or @WHX?? rebuilds those pulleys...I think.  Drill out the rivets and replace the bearing...depends on how much is worn out.

If you are looking for a quicker fix... those idler pulleys are available in most tractor supply stores... depending on what exactly is in Canada. :confusion-confused:

That looks like a welded pulley , i dont think theres a way to rebuild them unless you drill the spot welds.

Have found pulleys lately that are induction welded for the full circumference at the bottom of the V. No way to get them apart.

The most common bearing is a 6203 as there is a series of bushings made to reduce the 17mm metric inside diameter to a 3/8", 1/2" or 5/8" ID for the mounting bolt.

6203 bearings are also available with a 5/8" and 3/4" ID
