Michael Ragan 12 #1 Posted May 5, 2022 Help , I have all original Wheel Horse 1045 , I need to find out what size or brand of belt that fits the starter generator to the engine. cschannuth 3,816 #3 Posted May 5, 2022 You can also take the original belt to any good auto parts store and they should be able to get you close. I usually buy the one I think I’m going to need and then purchase the larger size and the next smaller size and then take back the two that don’t fit. If there’s no belt at all you can use a thick piece of rope around both pulleys to get you in the ballpark as well. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Costs more than a 4L350 belt but it will grip better and run cooler. Notched design fits around smaller pullies easier.
