Nice looking machine.

It wouldn't take too much imagination to see that as an actual tractor, move a few components back to the normal locations and some bigger wheels :-)

Prices here are going crazy at the moment - found this on ebay and nearly choked on my cup of tea!

That’s a very cool looking unit! Never seen one before…or even knew they existed.

And the Honda motor makes it that much better!

@Maxwell-8  never seen one of those . have used the GRAVLEY  SIMILAR TYPE , with the sulky . that really makes that unit ,  the novelty of walking behind that  , goes away  pretty fast ,  sulky just makes  it what it should be , pete

Not hard to see how this got engined. WH in the U.S. had a front-mount chassis to hold a deck and the rear portion is pretty close to the RER model "lawn skiff".

Thanks for posting it!

Tad

Hello,

I found this old model on a farm and replaced the 8HP with a 12HP with electric start. Here is the renovation ;-)

Wonder why a rear discharge deck? Almost seems dangerous on a “walk behind” mower. At a minimum your footwear would be filthy after a mow.

I can imagine @Pullstart using that with flip flops.   :laughing-rolling:

Get close to walls, fences, shrubbery, etc. on either side?
