4 wheel wagon

Recommended Posts

WHGuy413

Several years ago I picked up a 4 wheel wagon that looks to have been repainted at least twice. The tires and rims are wheelbarrow ones so they are not correct. I have a few questions. I would like to put the correct style rims on it. Were they just front rims from early 60’s wheel horses? And also does anyone have pictures and measurements of the tailgate? I would like to try and recreate it at some point.

There's somebody here on the forum that had restored a wagon like this. Maybe give it a search and see what you can find. It has plenty of pictures in the thread including that of wheels and tailgate.

According to the Manuals I copied for you...the front panel is the same as the back panel.  Item #17.

The wheels for the two wheel trailers had 4 1/2" hubs, I think that is the same as the early Wheel Horses. I put two trailer wheels on the front of my 312 and had to cut the hubs back to 3 3/4"
