Oil drain plug extender

Looking to replace the drainplug on my 12hp Kohler with a 1 1/2"-2" nipple. What are the specs for size and thread type?

Most likely 3/8-18. NPT.....National Pipe Thread.

Don't always think of a street, that would be perfect in this instance.

If you can use a brass one Craig is keeps it tighter to the motor.

Something else to consider is a drain valve such as this.
