Dominator 68 #1 Posted April 24, 2022 Hello all, been spending some time on my 1995 312-8. Tractor has around 560 hours, is clean and solid. After deciding to just paint the fading hood, I realized the color probably wouldn’t match the rest of tractor. I tore all the tins off, repainted what I could, reassembled with all new stainless hardware and new decals. Just thought I’d share, thanks to all you guys for answering my questions. SPINJIM 1,981 #3 Posted April 24, 2022 Nice tractor. I'm in the middle of a 312-H "freshen up", so I know what you mean about the colors not matching. The freshening up plans tend to suffer from 'project creep'. Now I've repainted everything except the hood, so I guess the hood is next even though it didn't need repainting. I've just been masking off the decals to keep the cost down (and the wife happy). What brand & color paint did you use? Looks close to original.
