peter lena 8,634 #4 Posted April 24, 2022 @t_furl43 , when recovering my lever , I found one on the bay , also detailed its function on a milk crate build up , for easy roller stool move around function check , that swing quadrant , should be detail lubricated , for both swing arc area , and spring loaded stop pin function , penetrating oil for rust run out , then lucas xtra heavy duty , chassis grease , will stay with it . also add washers to the lever rod linkage , for a solid smooth swing point. once I found the perfect , set up, I duplicated it on my other plow . when you add the hair pin clip to the end of the frame area , push the clip all the way thru the end , so it rests in the big hole end , so you will not loose it , been there , i also made up 1/2" thread rod heim joint s for my blade lever rod set up . pete
peter lena 8,634 #5 Posted April 25, 2022 @- furl43, another thing about about doing an elevated milk crate build is , that you can verify and check all your functions , what ever you have , is exactly what you are going to hook up to the tractor . my hand lever , pin , slides into into that quadrant arc , like a smooth solid bolt . washering up those sloppy joint ends , and lubing , gives them solid / smooth function . totally eliminate any rust on every moving area . this is what I do , you do not have to do this . just an idea , pete
