Hey guys I would like to introduce Rebel the Raider 12. He will be here Saturday or Sunday. First thing I will be doing is putting a light lens on and a stack.

TJ Nice Raider. A little spit and polish it will be ready to work again. Enjoy it!

You should have some fun with the Raider 12. Plenty of power and a limited slip transaxle!  Some WD-40 and 0000 steel wool should make a big improvement in the finish.

I noticed that it had a different ignition. I believe that is an early breaker-less ignition.

Looks like a trigger to me. They are fine as long as they work. Can be pricey for parts but also can be converted back to points and coil.

68 & 69 saw some changes. I've seen them with a starter/gen or a bendex starter as well.

Could be both depending on things.

The plate we see on the shroud will tell all. Get us a pic when you get her home. Looks to be a repoed '68 or '69.

Nice patina and strait sheet metal!

Front rims not lookin too healthy tho. May be chlorides?

This tag under the dash will tell you the year of your tractor.

As long as it works- those are great! Basically a Kohler Magnum that looks like a K series.

Those older cast iron spindles are much better than the newer aluminum ones.

And the shell is the same stamping as a newer 42. Drill 4 holes and slap an Attach-a- Matic hitch on it.

Do me a favor Newbie, take pics of the ingredients in those bottles and put them up. Just curious to see how they stack up with other kits  such as tank sealers  and whatnot.

Hey Guys,

Sorry about posting this on the “Rebel the Raider 12” post…

I meant to post it on the thread about my 48 inch SD deck restoration going on…
