268 Hydro holes and attachments

Recommended Posts

RLA

Hi,
As a new member I wonder if there is any knowledge and drawings of the purpose of various holes in the chassis and linkages on my 268Hydro.

I am carrying out some modifications including fitting hydraulic lifting and curling front bucket and making a 3 point CAT0 lift arrangement at the rear.

As well as holes in the chassis frames there is a presumably deliberate  space in the fuel tank, which looks as if it matches with holes across the area.

Any ideas or comments will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Here are 3 pages of files on the 268-H model that has 5 different model numbers. Find you model number and year and look for a file with D&A in the name. The "A" is the attachment list which you can download. Looking for a manual for each attachment is likely the only place to determine what extra holes are for. Sometimes the tractor illustrated parts lists (IPL) will show where attachments a lifted.

WHX??

:WRS: RLA ... always use another member from across the pond.

They used the same parts for many different models so many of the holes may not have been used for your particular model.
