chdinct 28 #1 Posted April 19, 2022 Anybody know how I would hook up this 36 rear discharge deck to my 1967 1077? It needs some type of idler pulley I believe. Have searched picks all over this site, on line and even YouTube but can't find any pic's of this tractor / deck combo. Seems perhaps the 10 and 12 hp models were sold with the 42" or 48" decks that show an idler pulley on that angled bracket that's part of the mid hitch. The lower hp models with this deck seem to have used a foot controlled idler pulley that can be engaged / disengaged via the foot pedal which I don't have. Thanks of any help. I've looked at this ipl before and just don't see what I"m missing. I believe I have part 44 (large deck pulley), but don't see any idler pulley???? I downloaded your IPL and blew it up and can see the idler pulley and associated parts. I have new deck belts but would need the drive belt once I find the correct idler pulley. I did find this pic on ebay finally, which appears to show my combo tractor (or close enough) with the 36 rear discharge deck and can make out an idler pulley just in front of the foot peg. chdinct 28 #7 Posted April 27, 2022 (edited) Been looking for the parts for the idler arm assembly with little luck. I did find the idler pulley listed on ebay so purchased that but don't have it yet. Still looking for the other pieces I've noted below on the attached IPL (Thanks to Gwest). So, if anyone knows where I can find them, or wants to sell me the pieces or even the entire idler assembly, I'd appreciate it. (Figure I can get a spring at the local hardware store once I have the idle setup to measure off of.) Edit: Left out the part number for 72 - Idler support. Part no. is 6906.
