dodgecharger 33 #1 Posted April 17, 2022 It is so heavily made, much better than the ones for sale new. All cast iron transaxle. Heavy angle iron frame. Just so well built. Real glass headlights. Is the 520 the last of the wheel horse line with a cast iron transaxle? I see now why you folks like these 11
Pullstart 62,905 #2 Posted April 17, 2022 Great machine! Keep that back cylinder clean and it’ll run a very long powerful time! The 520Xi was produced after the 520H and 520-8 series, that also had a cast UniDrive and a truck like stamped frame. No MTD garbage stamping… thick and TALL!

The 520H was not produced after 1997, The Classic tractor with the heavy frame, transaxle and a smaller engine was produced for about 10 more years.

You just never know when you need a spare! Edited April 17, 2022 by midpack 2 1

Tractorhead 9,064 #15 Posted April 18, 2022 A Wheelhore isn‘t just only a Working Machine, it becomes a Friend and a great Co It doesn‘t depending on it‘s Age, it is a Rock solid Buddy you can trust. It only needs a little care and with that it simply helps you every time reliable to do the Job. I.eg on Brooming Tilling Pulling Things Dump things plowing pushing Snow or Mole holes with a rear Rake combination Collecting leaves... There is nearly no restriction a Wheelhorse can do. 👍 need more addictions... 😎😂 4

Fishroe 261 #21 Posted April 18, 2022 I’m keeping an eye out on here and locally Cut down 25-30 trees between the road and the edge of the grass. All of that needs grading. In the turn of the road that needs grading every 2 months (pot holes) Been doing what I can with the plow blade From what everyone says here the grader blade is the ticket
