Front Receiver Hitch

Recommended Posts

Chaz54

I’ve got a 2” receiver hitch for the rear of my 520-H, but was wondering if anyone has made or sells a receiver hitch mount for the front mule drive?

Thanks,

Chuck W.

I have seen some front receivers for sale on ebay and I'm sure some guys here have them.

Bought mine off eBay. Just search “Wheel Horse Front Hitch” on eBay.

Works great. Snaps right in front attach a matic…

pics of mine on my C 105 and then pic from eBay.

He also sells one that bolts to the front and is permanent and doesn't interfere with the mule drive, I have both the 2" receiver for my 416 and the permanent one on my 312. The 2" receiver is nice if you need the ball to be higher and you have a 2" hitch that has a drop or rise . The permanent one on the 312 can hold at least a 300# tongue weight, I use it 95% of the time and don't have to remove the mule drive. I also have a change a ball on it, can change it from a 1 7/8" ball to a 2" ball in about 10 seconds.

I don't have a front reciever mount, but I do have a front hitch.     I think this was a U shaped channel part from the walk behind tiller I cut apart and mounted on the front of the plow frame.

It simply bolts to the face of the mule drive and does not interfere with the mule drives operation.     I use it mainly for parking boats in tight spaces.  I can also attach a regular drop pin trailer .         Oh yeah, be careful not to bang into the grill when you're hooking up.

I'm not a member of the    "Throw Away Social Club"   Randy.       I save every piece of junk.....just a matter of time till find a use for it.     May not be purdy, but it works and I like free.

I'm somewhat the same way, and, it's only after I get rid of something I find a use for it.  :eusa-doh:

I haven't made a front receiver hitch, could weld one on this front attachment or make another. Are the ones being sold hook on the bottom 0f the hitch, if not it could lift up.
