just reading the regular , problems with attempted stuck hubs , more often then not , what I see is the loss of direction to removal force , regularly to the outer edge of the frozen hub, having this type of central pull point https://www.bing.com/images/search?  will get you quicker results . used them for years on brutal stuff , strength to strength ,  with a small hydraulic hand pump , worth a look .pete

Just adding a thought here. It might not be worth the money to own one of these infrequently used but "might be perfect for the job" tools, but they are borrowable and rentable--check your local auto parts store(s) or other tool rental shop. (google "bearing puller rental near me")

Some Wheel Horse models use a thick plastic washer behind the hub, that puller will instantly destroy the washer.  Some other models have a considerable distance that would need spacers for the puller to work.  And then there is the fact that it has only a small amount of movement.

Yep, all great points. There is no "one size fits all" tool, for sure! Tweaked my post to clarify.
