Being a supporter is our way of keeping the site running well and thanking Karl for hosting our site.

Not meaning to hijack ANTPER's thread, but I didn't know about this either.  This site has been such a valuable resource and the people here are so friendly, I'm going to become a supporter also.

(I'm especially interested in the "Flood control":chores-mop: aspect of this -- we've had so much rain lately and I need a new sump pump. It will be nice to not worry about the floods any more.  :greetings-clappingyellow:   (just kidding... B) )

But seriously - If you need any help on the "techie" side, I've been in computers and IT since the mid- to late-1980's, and have hosted and moderated several forums in the past.  I'm not retired yet so I don't have "unlimited" free time, but could certainly help out some, if needed.

A question that's a bit more on topic - If we see something for sale and wonder if others might be interested, is it encouraged to post like this?  And we can't post links to a Craigslist or eBay sale item?   I just saw a 416-H posted on Craigslist near me for $800, original owner, looks like it's been well maintained, decent deck, etc.   I don't have the bucks or I might grab it myself since I seem to have been infected with the WH "disease".   :laughing-rofl:

Sorry, the moderators will promptly close the thread down.        :law-policered:       It has happened to me a few times, hate to see a great buy go unnoticed by our members but Rules are Rules.

I'd like to know what the chipper is worth, and your plans for it.  I might be interested in it, if you don't want it.

I may hang onto it as my son is clearing some property. I didn't think I needed one then boom it shows up. I'm considering keeping this 312 and throwing the 37 inch deck and bagging system and selling my 310-08 eventually. This 312 has a rear mulching discharge set up and gonna give it a try as I'm not a mulching kinda of guy. I bag.

     It was @davem1111 that was almost crossing the line. If you posted a link to a for sale site or location and contact information for something that isn't yours then you are probably going to hear from the moderators.

Ahh Ok. That's a relief. I'll stay away from posting anymore asking what do you think this is worth posts and stay out of trouble. ;)

Unless I’m wrong, and someone please correct me if I’m wrong, it’s okay to post questions about someone’s opinion on how much value they put on an item- whether you are buying or selling.

The thing that is not allowed is a link posted to that sale ad, or seller.

I take it as we don’t want Red Square to become another Craigslist or FB marketplace.

Also if I’m correct, if we are “ wanting to buy”, or “wanting to sell” something , we should post an ad in the Redsquare classifieds…

I think on for sale items, we are to set a price and not try to auction to “ highest bidder”.

Someone please correct me if I have misspoken…
