WalMart???? :thumbs2: I met a WalMart store manager at the WH Show and she does all her shopping at Target and JC Penney. I knew all those WalMart ads about cheap prices were bogus! :ychain:

Duke won a book on trouble shooting gasoline engines. Wonder if he read it yet? :ROTF:

Butch, is that the same Wal-mart manager I met at the show? :thumbs2: I don't think Duke read the book yet, cause the tractor still isn't running. :ychain: Too bad Charlie didn't live a little closer to him.

Yep thats pretty strange drive a tractor the whole show and at cruise night, Then put it away in the building so no thunder storms get it, and then the next day the damn thing doesn't start :thumbs2: Uh from what I seen everyone you mentioned had a hand at trying to fix it! Anyway for trying! I know what the problem is "BAD GAS" I think I unintentionally grabbed a 2 year old tank of fuel when I was loading up and put it in the Hauler! Anyway Just before the cruise I drove the RJ out to my Hauler and filled my tank while the engine was running. I thought it sounded a little funny and had a miss but didn't think much about it! I'm glad it worries both of you cause it doesn't me :ychain: I haven't even unhooked the hauler from the stabbin cabin since the show!! Pulled it in the driveway and there it sits! Ray You can borrow the MYSTERY book Butch is talking about it has a great section on proper belt sizes. Butch got it to read up on 595HD tractors! :ROTF:

Sorry I missed you guys on saturday. I could not pull myself off from the battlefield at Gettysburg. Besides, I didn't have room in my car for all of the prizes I would have won. :thumbs2:

It was great meeting everyone on friday, and I look forward to seeing many of the same faces in Charlotte, in Aug.

Actually you did miss a bunch Tom! Butch was drooling :ychain: over Eldon's 595-HD R&D Tractor and that's all he has been dreaming about since the show! Word has it he is looking for one for next years show! Seeing the 595-HD made him a happy man to say the least, Well at least he was happy Till MJ was the first name drawn and she won those Hub Caps! This picture says it all!

What attracted my attention to this tractor was the strange noise it was making. :thumbs2: Turns out that strange noise I heard was just

the sound of a running WH engine. :ROTF: So I made a recording of the sound.

Ya want me to send you a copy? Then next year you can hide the tape player under the hood and you won't have to bother Charlie!! :ychain:

Really got him there, Butch. Bet his arm is as sore as my leg from pullin' on that rope. Oh by the way Duke, that book that you mentioned in another thread about proper belt sizes, if you read on into the other chapters it tells about proper seat spring installation and how to make your paint stick to your tractor. :ychain: You just knew I wasn't gonna leave that remark about my belt go without retaliation. I did my share of pushin' the tractor, too. :thumbs2:

That chapter you are mentioning Ray is right after the chapter on makeing sure your engine is in useable shape and not fixin to BLOW A ROD before mounting it on a freshly painted restored tractor! :thumbs2:

No need to get yer lip all curled up and outta joint cause ya didn't win a prize! And dont waste yer time on sound bites and recordings, just bring a restored vintage tractor like everyone else! :thumbs2:

Well I wouldn't call a 1985 300 Series a vintage tractor. But I need to get it done to put it to work around here. I have some dirt to move, wood and slate to move and some brush to mow. Now that it's nice out I don't feel like going in the hot garage to work on it. But I need to get it done and bring it to the show to ride around on. Buzz had the generosity of letting me drive one of his. I'll bring a tow rope just in case you need it!! :ychain::thumbs:

Duke your tractor and me are a lot alike. It and me are running nowhere!! :ROTF:

My wife stole my Voodoo mask and put it outside on one of the beer dispensers.

She said it goes good with her torches and palm trees! We've been out back getting everything ready for our 25 year old son's annual July 4th bash. So we've been hittin the wine bottle in the process!

Ray, I'll hold down the fort for ya! I'll keep the Dukester busy with me while you're away! :thumbs2:

Duke, the only reason we started bustin' on you before you got home because we can't think and type as fast as you. We needed a head start. Don't forget Butch and I are older than you and "aren't the brightest crayons in the box anymore " like Charlie would say. Well enough said. You guys have a great weekend and see you when I get back. :thumbs2:

I'm offended by the "not the sharpest crayon in the box" comment.

You offended those of us who cannot color in between the lines....
