NGK B-2 vs NGK B2-LM spark plugs.

Recommended Posts

Kelsey

Greetings,

I stopped in at Advanced Auto for a NGK B-LM spark plug

and I bought a NGK B-2. Can the Latter be used in place of

the original plug? What is the difference between the two?

The newer one is a bout 1/2" taller.

Thanks,

Kelsey

Thanks Mike!

The old plug was in my son's magnum 10HP. Advanced Auto

salesman couldn't elaborate on the new plug. Curiosity got the best of me

to ask, internet wasn't all that helpful except for a few things.

@Kelsey  spark plugs are run , by related wiring , make sure every connection is solid , typically add light swipe of dielectric grease , inside of the spark plug boot , makes installation  smooth and ensures  conductivity .  look over each wire run , just  a suggestion , pete

Thanks Pete!

Just so the WH forum knows, I changed out the plug, air filter, fuel filter and used

fresh non-ethanol gasoline in my boy's wheel horse. She did a heck of a job for the first

mowing of the season. Sure beats a herd of goats.
