'64 1056 4 #28 Posted April 15, 2022 I went through 3 of the $10 Chinese variety, in 2 years; dead, leaking, etc. Last time I bought a Holley made here, put it on in October and (fingers crossed) no trouble since.
Bill D 1,926 #29 Posted April 16, 2022 I made this plate for mounting an impulse pump. If you go this route, use a Briggs or Kawasaki pump. I don't trust the cheap ones.
OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #30 Posted April 16, 2022 @Bill D Bill we are thinking alike! This is the plate I made up to block off the old pump location and then mount on the electric pump. I welded on the bolts to the plate and will use the nuts to secure the pump. I did go with a cheap pump just to see if I would like it or not. this is my first electric so we'll see how it goes. I'll upgrade or go back to the mechanical version if needed.

peter lena 8,634 #33 Posted April 17, 2022 @OutdoorEnvy good for you ! very quiet , the stronger your mount , like on frame , as opposed to lighter fender tin area , makes noise a non issue . have mine hooked up to start / run , no issues at all . pete 1
