Dominator 68 #1 Posted April 8, 2022 Hello all, once again, hope this is the right place. Removed the seat and gas tank assembly and bracket. 2 bolts hold it down to the transmission. There were no lock washers. Schematics don’t show any. My question is, what keeps the oil from leaking past these? Would it hurt to install a lock washer? The bolts are not serrated underneath. Instead of oil leaking up, water can leak down into the transmission, especially when stored outside or pressure washed.
