When the police arrived she was still texting, police officer asked if I could pull of to the side of the road, told him I would ruin her car if I did that. He took a couple of pictures and said it was already a total anyway. As I drove forward I was towing her car too. Sparky-(Admin) 21,315 #28 Posted April 7, 2022 Connecticut law states headlights on in any precipitation that requires use of wipers. Using the wipers to clear your windshield when using the washer fluid is not considered precipitation. I always “obey”, but I don’t know anyone that has been ticketed for it either. My car has auto headlights but I don’t use that option, prefer to turn on/off when I want. Pickup does not have the auto headlight feature. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

This led to an upgrade for the sterio. That in turn led to the installation of a second alternator. One night during dinner break, he and several other kids piled into the car to enjoy the stereo. As I walked by the car, I noticed that he windows were shaking in their seals. Third does not and a dark rainy day figured it be best with them on. Ran into HF and got so accustomed to having autos forgot to turn them off. He hears the horn and GOES - his head is still down halfway thru the intersection and NEVER looks to the sides - God must be his copilot. And, yes, HE would be in the wrong - MA has outlawed the use of handheld cell phones while driving. I would be the first to pull over if anything happened to give my account to the Police. Why blowing a horn to “stimulate” action on another drivers part may be seen one way to one guy and another way to a different guy, I feel it’s like this… Even if someone behind you blows the horn, you are still responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle… When I first started driving someone was giving me directions on where to go… they said “Go straight through this light”… well I did, and it was redder than our Horses. They meant stop for the light, then go straight… I heard “Go straight through this light.” Luckily the intersection was clear… scared the H$LL out of them, and I didn’t even realize I had done it until we were through the intersection ! 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
