ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #1 Posted April 5, 2022 And I can't even get her to use it...ours has been giving us fits for a while now so I went out and bought her one that's so much better built...she informed me that I had to do the laundry from now on...I just don't understand some people Actually bought two of them yesterday...but the other one is gonna take a full days work to dig it out of the back of the barn it's in...not sure what model it is yet, but I do know it's a bit later than this one. Trying to pinpoint an exact year of manufacture. What I do know about this one so far is that it is a Model 90, built sometime 1927-1930. Probably gonna change it over to a gas powered 92 though 4 2

peter lena 8,618 #5 Posted April 5, 2022 @ CLASSIC TRACTOR PROFESSOR , neat unit there , notice your first comments were your , current units are giving you fits . my washer and dryer are 35 years old , maytag , refit all the electrical vital relays and switches years back , with on line related service site pictures , if your stuff is in that zone age , take advantage of it and, replace what s needed , the new stuff is absolute plastic garbage , and very failure prone . pricing new stuff thats going to fail , or spending under 100 $ , for parts and online how to . look it up , just an idea , love the bombproof quality standards of the past , getting older , pete
Tractorhead 9,064 #6 Posted April 6, 2022 Pretty nice Gift Bryce, i don‘t understand why she won‘t use it. it looks in real good shape. Maybe you must firstly demystify it. for her. 😎😂
ClassicTractorProfessor 5,314 #7 Posted April 6, 2022 @peter lenaours are not that old...4-5 years old maybe?? All computer controlled, digital displays...seem to have a mind of their own every so often (of course some of that could be operator error when I try to run them) I've been looking for an older set in the same vintage as yours, much more durable and seem to get clothes cleaner than these new front loaders. That being said once I get the old Model 90 up and running I wouldn't mind doing my laundry in it...just for the awesome nostalgic feeling of using a machine thats over 90 years old

peter lena 8,618 #9 Posted April 6, 2022 @ClassicTractorProfessor , was told many times over the years , do not sell those , you can easily refit them with available parts . another thing on todays stuff , try and keep it simple , those hi end models are a maintenance nightmare , at 100+ bucks an hour and plastic parts , make you crazy . pete
