...and if either machine is down for any reason- except for the GT14, you can swap implements.

But yes, you're absolutely right!

Just excellent.

We'd love to see pics when you can.

@SylvanLakeWH Jim has some great thoughts on the minimum number of Wheelhorse tractors that should be in the herd.

I believe we discussed minimum 2 tractors per available implement so there would always be a spare for maintenance.

That's not an excuse. It's a legitimate reason.

And I'm sticking to that.

As long as your Wheel Horse addiction isn't preventing your family from living under a roof and having nutritious meals you don't need an excuse.

Not sure why... just seemed the right thing to do.

Hmm... Sounds a little too familiar

I keep trying to explain that to my better half. I'm working on her a little at a time though. She does like to help cut the grass so I bought her a 312-8 yesterday, number 6. When we went to check the tractor out I had her sit on it, I asked "Does it feel comfortable to you?" She would cut here and there on one of my other horses, no seat springs, hard to reach the pedals. She said "I like this one it's really nice, nice seat and I can reach the pedals, too."  And so it begins....

:eusa-clap:

Quick buy another identical 312-8… gotta make sure the boss is covered in case of mechanical breakdown… :handgestures-thumbupright:

Like any other thing in life many of us have preferences.

I prefer the 70s style both for looks and driving position with a longer setback and two pedals. (Separate brake and clutch pedal).

Trina likes the smaller 60s short frame with a single pedal.

Having driven a 417A here in the yard I observed that it has a more upright position and seems substantially shorter front to rear in the way I set on it.  It feels "to close".

I can understand that a smaller stature person would prefer the later style.

Perhaps you've tripped over her niche favorite.

Always have a backup!

....and a backup for that one, and a backup for that one, and a backup for that one.

Problem is, This makes Wheel Horse number six. I don't have anymore room in the shed and I sure don't want any of them sitting outside. Time to devise a plan for another Horse barn. And by the way, thanks for all of your support in this crucial matter.:eusa-think:

You're welcome.

Perhaps the username could be changed to "barns2" with appropriate construction additions..

i understand that many horses are fond of higher floor accommodations. Build up, not out?

@stevebo has a fine example of that.
