Belt guard assembly

Recommended Posts

Farmall cub 1957

I am in the middle of restoring a 1976 wheel horse c160 8 speed. The belt guard for the drive belt is broken in multiple places, in some places broken off. It’s part number is 105391, and I was wondering if a belt guard off something like a c141, or c161 is the same as the c160s.

Please feel free to this post if it doesn’t belong here

Thanks,

FC1957

105391 belt guard was used 1976 and 1977 on the 8-speed models.

So that’s where the squirrel put them…!!!

No wonder the price of belt covers is skyrocketing!!! They’re all in Wisconsin… :scared-eek:

@Farmall cub 1957 youngster learning how to do it , will stay with him for life , another thing that stays is the self confidence  of having your mind and interest in the  chore .  was very fortunate to  have the first guy I  ever worked for , showed me how to mirror drive a truck , and drive it like he did , the lessons were frequent and have lasted a lifetime.  bet you he listens , when spoken to , good for him , pete

Thank you Pete, I am 14 years old and am always trying to collect tips from my pap and dad. I am very fortunate to have access to them and learn. I have been driving tractors since I was two starting on the c160 and then I got the cub when I was 8. I hook up the trailer and load stuff for the shows and my dad just hauls me. I will be fixing three more wheel horses of a friends soon and will have to put some pictures up.

More than welcome to come do recon in the magic parts shed Joe. Two things tho you want to walk out you have to walk in backwards and you you might get pressed into cleaning it out!
