johnnymag3 2,554 #1 Posted April 2, 2022 Have a dilemma...M18 has manual pulley on it...need to put my larger Hydro pulley on it..from my M18......doing an engine change... Does not appear to have an allen in the hole / holes to remove.....How should I go about this swap? How do you remove the pulley??? I have several pullers, but want to do it the right way. Normally the key in the slot is held by the pulley set screw. Maybe the set screw was driven with no key in place . Place a load on it with the puller and see if the pulley moves. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
squonk 41,779 #10 Posted April 3, 2022 Is the key even in the slot? I don't see it. I have pulled pulleys with the set screw key and all off of shafts before when the allen screw hex is damaged. Just need a good puller, new bolts and some thick washers for extra strength. Toss a puller on that pulley and see if it moves. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
