Many of us have made custom parts, attachments or mods to our tractors, like foot pedal controls for example.  Let's see the pictures.  Close up pictures and descriptions are appreciated.  I love gaining inspiration for a build of my own from the folks here.

 

Here's my modified Bobcat deck.  Got the idea from @kpinnc

I have a couple - First, a two-piece clamp-on steering wheel adapter. No more roll pin, and you use the aftermarket steering wheel of your choice. Mine on the C81 kind of looks like a 420LSE.

Second, an adjustable spring assist for the seat on Round Hoods to keep the seat from abrading the paint off the toolbox fenders.

Here's my solution to moving the seat back on the Cinnamon Horse 1974 c160.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bolted the square bars to the seat pan and the seat to the square bars. Gave me a good strong two inches of additional legroom.

My Colossus tractor project is quite a lot of custom work from one end to the other.

I'm particularly happy with the spindles.

I designed them and our fabricating friend built them. I helped her just a tiny bit with brute Force on a big wrench but everything else, credit to her.

 

Here's a sequence of what they started as to the finished product as mounted.

“Frank” is also a customization in itself.  It’s the only 1963 big block automatic that I’m aware of…

Looks like your blades are turning the wrong way unless they are sharpen on both sides.

They are turning the correct way.  I've cut with it twice now.

It does, in fact.  

 

And ... Currently... It's in excellent condition. 

 

This Horse. Cinnamon Horse.... Is the no good rotten temperamental naughty  possibly vengeful beast that bucked me!!

They are made that way so you can trim equally close on both sides...

 

Unlike 'certain' older decks with 5 inches of metal past the tip of the blade.

Here in Belgium WH-stuff is very rare, implements unfindable. So I have to fabricat everything I want

 

Rear mount grader

Adapter to run a Honda plow

A mulching deck

reminds me on getting back to work on the front mount air compressor

My rear rack, 350lbs on their 

It can handle all that weight without a front weight, but decided to make one, to be a bit safer and prevent wheelies.

 

And custom 4.5 inch dash/hood raise to fit the diesel engine, it is at an angle to maintain the the steering shaft angle.

So how do you bolt the seat on the brackets once their on the tractor?

I've done the square tube mount set-up on both Cinnamon Horse C160-8 and the '75 C160 Automatic. 

I did a little variance on the two. 

Gimme a few here and I'll get some pics and info for ya.

Worked with a guy who cut off the tips of his shoes with a push mower. We nick-named him 3 Horse Toenail Clippers

Here's a couple pics. 

I used 2 sets of 4 bolts. 

One set goes down from the middle of the square bars through the seat pan. 

The other set goes up through the seat pan, bars, and into the seat base.  

 

I could have likely used only the second set but I wanted the extra strength.

Eb, I was just trying to figure out a new seat mount for the 867. I do believe I'm gonna steal your idea...

Just be REALLY REALLY  sure the seat pan tab lock is in excellent condition.
