Geochurchi 3 #1 Posted March 25, 2022 Hi All, we have a Vangard engine, trying to determine what the correct ignition switch would be , it has a magneto ignition system, right now we have a 5 terminal switch, not sure how the ignition kill switch is connected or does the switch short to ground internally , this motor is on a small garden style locomotive, so not much else to go on. A switch with an "M" terminal grounds the magneto to shut the ignition off. Magneto systems are self powered.
