Pullstart 62,900 #1 Posted March 25, 2022 The hilo quit moving forward and backward recently… as on I backed it into a hole the other week and now it won’t move! I chained the engine core to the mast and used it’s reach/retract function to pull it forward for inspection. wouldn’t you know, some rascal mouse made itself a nice home and chewed wires! Hey @squonk… can you come check my shorts?
Pullstart 62,900 #2 Posted March 25, 2022 A close up of the carnage, and yes I unplugged it
squonk 41,120 #3 Posted March 25, 2022 Should keep you busy for a few minutes. I had to pull entire dash board out of an 84 Chrysler 5th Ave. to repair mouse damage. At least you can see the wires!

Pullstart 62,900 #6 Posted March 25, 2022 Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the issue. What fuses I can find… check out. Contactors all function by the controls. No go power on the drive motor. Grrrrr.
Tractorhead 9,064 #7 Posted March 25, 2022 Did you checked the wiring of the handles? another point to check is the battery full? Maybe the short dumped the battery‘s. just a thinkering

Maybe the short dumped the battery‘s. just a thinkering I am running the charger on an equalize cycle, where it drains then fully charges. The motion controller is intact, but very busy. It could be the mouse damage is totally unrelated.
Pullstart 62,900 #9 Posted March 26, 2022 I can’t find a wiring diagram to save my life. The model number is missing too. I was able to use the engine core and a fresh charge to drag the machine in line with the customer’s truck for loading. Now, I’ll have to drag the machine out of my service bay to get the next customer truck in.
Pullstart 62,900 #10 Posted October 3, 2022 @Evguy hey if you have some moments, would you mind taking a look at this video and giving any pointers? When I move the motion control, the main contactors engage. The drive motor does not.
Evguy 556 #11 Posted October 3, 2022 First thing that came to mind was damaged wiring to safety switches preventing motion. Without a schematic or actually being at the machine it’s hard to diagnose. 1 check the relay in question, is power present at coil? 2. Check wiring for operator foot switches. I’m a little familiar with Raymond, but that’s older than any I worked on. any other items have numbers, as in controller etc that might identify the machine? Do you any clues if the wiring may have shorted together? Controller may have damage if that happened. Just throwing things out, as I said hard to do with information available.
