Stormin 9,981 #1 Posted March 19, 2022 Things are not going well at the moment. Got the Petter engine on the saw bench to finish off and hopefully starting will improve. Yesterday started to get disturbing noises from the Santa Fe's gear box. Garage diagnosis is the transfer box. So that's out of action. C-125 is still playing up when starting. Fitted the mowing deck to it today and started to mow the green and verges. Thanks to a dumbo neighbour who can't maintain his fences properly, the ground is full of hoof prints/holes of some beasts that escaped. Got the green mowed and started on the area by the pond. Halfway through that I noticed a rattle. Looking down I saw the blade drive belt was loose. The tension bar spring was broken and the bar was in two halves as well. Removed and cleaned the deck and that's when I found a blade was loose. To cap it all SWMBO is away for the weekend and I'm having to do my own cooking. 9 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
