Welder ?

I have a small cheap HF mig welder with an argon tank on it. Can someone tell me at what pressure the dial should be at for welding?  Thanks  Greg.

I run 10 to 13 psi. and if I have the door open and wind is blowing.... more. I usually close the door though when windy. 

As time goes on you can try to lower the pressure and use less gas based on the weld results. wire stick out will matter too. the longer the wire out the end of the gun the more gas pressure you will need to shield the arc. I use about a 3/8 stick out. and keep the nozzle reasonably clean.

We still use a regulator for the shield gas on the MIG welder. We switched to a flow meter on the TIG welder - gave better results.
