toro 322d substrand series 15 inline

trying to fix

322d weak deck and power steering

trans seems to be worn very little cant figure out what the cause is or what to try 

have older trans for parts but not sure what the problem is 

need help??

Sorry way too new for me I have Sunstrands but they] are from the 60s 70s not 2000
