The deer in our area must have a natural salt lick as they're not using the one I set out, as for feeding now that the weather has warmed up we only have a couple of deer visiting once a day.

The feed set out early this morning still remains untouched so it looks like they prefer a natural browse when its available.

The larger does which had mated in the fall do not allow an unbreed juvenile too share food they're booted aside where they wait patiently, as the days became longer the larger deer which had bred in the fall are now easily spooked, These Does are no longer showing up for food I believe they've gone off to give birth.

Tinned cat food for the woodpeckers  when there is none to be had they'll grab a sunflower seed then fly to the nearest tree, using the tree as an anvil to crack the seed open.

Out of eight deer this pair are the only ones coming for feed, I'm curious to see if the Jumper recovers.

the landscapers around here call those green Tootsie Pops and wrap them with plastic bird mesh to interfere with the deer's tongue.

Pat would never allow it as the small birds take refuge in the foliage during stormy weather.:)

Not me personally but some of my neighbors would love to harvest them if they turned out to be, magic mushrooms which are located in pastures which have been fertilized with sheep or cow dung.

How to install a low maintenance snow fence.

If your neighbor is pruning his/her cedar hedge offer to remove the clippings, my father had an apple tree with five different species of apples grafted to the root stock.
