No, you're talking about towing with another WH, aren't you? Good point about the steering following! pfrederi 17,685 #6 Posted March 15, 2022 (edited) Flat tows ...least the army type I am familiar with are basically triangular. two heavy tubes each from the towing pintle loop to the shackles on the dead vehicle. (blue lines) This set up would put a lot of stress on the connection (red Circle) but then WHs are no multi ton vehicles... Hopefully it doesn't bend. More worried about bending the hitch on the tractor. The long center piece is 1" solid square stock from a railing. The 5/8" bar is from a parted out deck. Side braces and flat stock are from a scraped lawn aerator. It's heavy. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
