The Automotive OEM I used to work for had a plant in Juarez - Got a new CEO that was hellbent on moving just about all of our local production there - too many "Hand Holding" trips there to right their wrongs.

Model T used in 1934 Vermont… Note that this is at the bottom of the hill so that the pull is on the rope going directly to a pulley at the top--notice the tension at the bottom of the high wheel--and the idlers are to make sure the up-slope tow rope isn't pulled sideways by skiers! I've no doubt that a 20hp engine would be able to pull a couple of skiers handily! Edited March 13, 2022 by Handy Don

I will say the kids bale off after the second jump, (sometimes not by choice), I have seen them airborne too.
