Same here Joe.     Yesterday I raked this yard in a tee shirt at 73F.

With the high winds and snow we decide to stay an extra night in Hagerstown, MD.  Will continue the trip to El Paso in the morning.

Ah, yes - El Paso Texas. Been there, done that way too many times. The Automotive OEM I used to work for had a plant in Juarez - Got a new CEO that was hellbent on moving just about all of our local production there - too many "Hand Holding" trips there to right their wrongs.

Here’s a design mock up for you. Model T used in 1934 Vermont…

Note that this is at the bottom of the hill so that the pull is on the rope going directly to a pulley at the top--notice the tension at the bottom of the high wheel--and the idlers are to make sure the up-slope tow rope isn't pulled sideways by skiers!

I've no doubt that a 20hp engine would be able to pull a couple of skiers handily!

TJ (grandson) told me to build a ski tow for next year, I'm already cabaging materials. thinking of a capstan style running off a a 3 hp or may WH PTO now that I see that pic. I could be the operator and drink coffee. :handgestures-thumbupright:

You’d need a good airbag system for the bottom… or a jump capable of clearing the road :woohoo:

Need one of those nets they use at the end of the track at the drag races!

I will say the kids bale off after the second jump, (sometimes not by choice), I have seen them airborne too.
