45fmj 1 #3 Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) toro 322d grounds master serial 8042 bought with 1200 hours hyd steering and deck never has worked to full power but inside of trans looks good?? works good with 325d trans but forward and reverse is backwords found out the gear in hub is reverse on 325d would like to use the 322d trans but inside looks good? Just 4 digits in the serial number? - making it a 1990 tractor model 30788 5 digit serial 8042x making it a 1988 tractor model 30782 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Just 4 digits in the serial number? - making it a 1990 tractor model 30788 5 digit serial 8042x making it a 1988 tractor model 30782 have the commercial service manual. it is 322d groundsmaster model 30788 and serial between 80001 and 89999 this what serial is between exact number is in the shop i will double check but this is what i have in the computer have a mechanic that has worked on several of these trans at a hyd shop and he says all the parts have very little wear the trans looks like a old 372 trans that i have and when they made the 325d trans changed filter and axle drive gear on different side of hub book shows a trans for 322d like the one i have and want to use but may have to put the 325d trans and reverse axle set up hate to do this i may clean up 322d trans good and try one more time 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
45fmj 1 #6 Posted March 15, 2022 (edited) cleaned up the trans oiled parts couldnt find a problem installed trans deck and power steering weak ?? any ideas what could be wrong? parts seem to be very good?
