Mustang67ford 234 #1 Posted March 10, 2022 (edited) Does anybody have any photos how the fuel line is supposed to be routed? Mine is leaving the the tank and heading to the right of the gear shift in the photo then up thrubthe hole in the dash area where thebwiring runs. Does nit seem correct. Also there is a metal tube to the left of the gear shift. What is that for and is that supposed to carry the fuel line? I seems too small for a rubber line unless the line is supposed to be metal. roadapples 6,983 #2 Posted March 10, 2022 Not sure about fuel line. The tube to the left is for a cable to rear hitch to lift plow etc.

JCM 9,636 #5 Posted March 11, 2022 That is the correct routing for the fuel line in your first picture.
tunahead72 2,450 #6 Posted March 11, 2022 @Mustang67ford I believe your photo is correct. And if you're lucky, in front of the grommet in the dash, somewhere along the inside of the sheet metal on the right side, there will be one or more J-clips or something similar to keep the fuel line up and away from the steering fan gear. Use zip ties or whatever you have on hand if they're missing. @lynnmor Just to clarify... Are you saying the cable goes through the area you marked, or the fuel line?

The question was about the fuel line. I don't have first hand experience with that model, so I took a guess based on some models. Only a guess.

I'm planning to add a fuel filter and shutoff up by the motor so seems like some room to do that as soon as ai come out from under the dash. Want to avoid constantly using the shutofff under the tank.
