Im thinking about it...it looks fairly clean, says it has no battery but claims it runs, 48" deck, wheel weights.  Dont know hours.

Id assume he has a way to jump it off to show it runs.

Wants 600...i need another tractor like I need a hole in my head.  I wish it had power steering or the assisted steering

If it’s firing on both cylinders it’s worth the 6 bills all day.

:text-yeahthat:      $600 for wheel weights, 48" SD deck, and a WH cover is a good deal.      Oh, take the free 520 too.

Here is what I did in a similar situation recently and I'm happy with my decision...

I passed on a 96 520h with a fuse blowing issue with 1050hrs. 48" deck needed patched. Ran and moved well (fuse blew when shut off for some reason).

Seller wanted 400.  It was overall decent shape. 6 of 10 all considered... so i thought it was a steal! Actually came with weights and a short chute too!

I decided that someone else could hopefully enjoy since I realized I have enough tractors (i know it's not popular opinion to some, lol).

I have a total of 4.

That being said, i still am looking to upgrade and replace one of mine and also I like helping members and  enthusiasts find deals and parts as MANY have done for me.

Fuse blowing on shut down is usually a bad switch shorting 12v to ground.  My 416 had a bad stator coil, new 40a fuse in...it would start up..run at idle...as soon as you revved it, it would pop the fuse.  New stator fixed it

When I sell a tractor, I take a good used battery out of one of mine - we have three - and buy a new battery for one of mine. Never had any complaints ...

Generally pretty much what i do, id never think of asking any kind of money for a mower with no battery...and id be willing to take a picture of the meter or at least disclose what it says
