Yes it is

I texted the seller last night and asked how many hrs were on it. He said he would look this morning. Texted back this morning and said it doesn’t have an hour meter. Kinda makes me think he got it just to flip it. $1200 or $950 without tiller. I thought that was high

416-8 is a good strong tractor, the only downfall is that it has an Armstrong  lift rather than the electric lift. That tiller will give you a workout. Depending on the condition of the engine, transaxle and steering I would guess $ 600 to $ 700 would be a ballpark price.   :twocents-02cents:

So the best scenario is a tractor with hydraulics if u use a tiller?

Typical tractor flipper a cheap can of spray paint and they think it's worth 1000 more than what he paid for it

It a nice setup for the garden if you can for a more realistic price.  It's a alot without knowing the history behind it

It is missing the tins on the head.  Tells me it’s been apart before.  And neglected to be repaired correctly.

I’m not 100% convinced it is a 416…motor looks like a transplant so it could be a 310 or a 312 that someone dropped a K341 into. If that was the case it might have the “weaker” 4 pinion with 1” axles trans. The motors were black on the 416’s and they had a real muffler and not a stub of pipe with that pepper pot style mufffler screwed on.
Not saying it isn’t worth checking out, but look it over real good. And the asking price is really high in my opinion.

Mike is right- definitely NOT a 416-8. If you look at it from the back, those are definitely not 1.125 axles. But- the front spindles are short for the 8 inch wheels. Add all the paint problems and to me it looks like a cobbled machine from parts of more than one.

I can't be 100% certain, but that rear fender looks like a Work Horse fender. They didn't have the little stiffening bend across the bottom rear like regular Wheel Horses.

Nothing wrong with a cobbled machine if done correctly, but that one is massively overpriced.

If you are still interested in it here is an idea. Take a look at the "Member Map" and see if any members live near the seller. Send them a PM (personal message), they may be willing go take a look at it for you.           :angry-tappingfoot:          With any luck they won't buy it out from under you.

Yep. Plus the holes on top are different. Definitely not the same metal painted grey.
