That neck swelling is some serious stuff. Sorry to hear that, especially when in the remote back country.

Yeah, we were back packing with out tents.  It made for some interesting sights when we sprayed ourselves with bug spray when entering and leaving our sleeping bags and dressing and undressing.   Taking care of body functions and bathing in the river were major operations.    I do have pictures, but they would be censored.

A true hardcore sportsman Mr Kennell. I truly appreciate that   :bow-blue: You would get along very well with Patti's brother who lives North of Fairbanks, AK.

Just an observation. Snow generally kills bugs…

Ahhh @ebinmaine

You now have me waxing eloquent down that slippery slope of ski metaphors, euphemisms, soliloquy’s and visuals :scared-eek:

A Haiku…

Precipitation

Frozen or liquid all good

Skis traverse both forms

Yesterday everything was green and this morning there's about four or five inches of snow on the ground, got to love winter.  :occasion-snowman:

Everything covered with ice this morning and large pine branches broken.  By noon, nearly all ice is gone and this little guy celebrated:

Quite a racket when the sun came out and the wind kicked up.    The ice came down with a fury on the metal roofs.      Two trees came down into the field that I will need to clean up before my Amish farmer begins to plow.

Still waiting for a correct weather prediction. Many times this winter we have been told that we would be getting multiple inches of snow. Never seem to get very much though.

Same in Minnesota Dan….my snowblower is getting a little dust buildup on it…

@Achto @Terry M

I'll tell ya what.

I'm a nice guy.

I like to be helpful.

Now I'm planning on getting up tomorrow about 5 or 6 am like usual and heading outside around 7 or so to do some snowblowerering.

If one o' you gets here before then I'll not only let you do all the ❄️❄️❄️ Snow removal, I'll even supply a surly attitude and fairly decent coffee.

Don't be lollygagging about though.
