Right side rear axle looks like she's out a hair past the hub ? EB  Maybe we should pull them anyway and replace the seals on this one. Appears to be enough lube on the whole tractor they may slide right off with any luck.

Mismatched and missing lugs, too. Look sharp!

No sir, that was it.

The PO told us a fella had come and picked up some other Panzer things but never come back for that.

She figured I'd put it to good use.

The plow is bent some but certainly repairable.

Likely I'll just sell it the first good opportunity.

Give me a bit here and I'll PM you some pics so you know exactly what you're up against... And then let's see if we can get this figured out.

At this rate anyone that attends Jims Meet/Greet can show up without a tractor as he’ll have enough to go around.
Maybe I won’t have to haul up my truck and loaded trailer…hmmm. Maybe drive my 4 cylinder car (“is that your wife’s car” is how Jim once referred to it )  and save a bunch on fuel :eusa-think:

Yepp.

We can start getting a parts list together.

We're down to the hydraulic system now...

Folks how's the starter internals look here.

It does work. Wasn't noisy. Small bushing good. Large bushing I'm replacing.  Brushes have a ton of life left.

@squonk @pfrederi @stevasaurus and whoever knows starters can you chime in here ...

Note the cracks in the (insulation?)

@JCM Jim was here for a visit today. Between the 3 of us we got more disassembly and cleaning done.

The entire steering tower/shifter tunnel is off.

Engine tins off and great headway towards cleaning that all out.

Grass dirt oil muck. Just. Covered. Wow. Everything.

Rest of the starter is torn apart and I began cleanup on that.

I've never seen a starter commutator gooped up like that!  :confusion-confused: I couldn't tell you if that's normal for that starter or not. I'm more used to something like this. Your looks like it got hot and melted!

The 2 I did just recently were also like that but I don't remember seeing the cracks in those.
