D250 tiller

Hi pick up a tiller for my D250 it came of a D160, the drive shaft has male 15 spline the D250 has a male 6 splineis there a adapter or a different drive shaft thanks wally

A D-160 Automatic and a D-250 10-Speed are two different tractors.

Do the rear pto's turn the same direction at the same speed?

No...D-250 1000 rpm CCW   D-200 2000rpm CW

The D250 was made overseas by Gutbrod.  To my knowledge, there’s not really anything similar with other  machines, except the badge.

Thanks I have a d200 that I gave to to my son-in-law I have 3 D250 that I resorted  I looked up the tiller number for both tractors and they are the same tiller,the difference is the drive shaft that’s what I need if someone has one or no where I can get one thanks wally

I looked at implement interchange looks like D-200 uses a 50" tiller 07-50TL  But D-250 uses a 40" tiller 07-40TL01

 

I really do not see how they could use the same tiller.  PTOs turning opposite direction and at a big difference in speed.

Thanks I rebuilt 3 D250 engine and transmission I know These tractors like the back of my hand, but really don’t know that much about the attachments thanks for the information, I wish I would have asked these questions before I bought the Rototiller, thanks again wally

Where did you get the parts to rebuild the motor/trans?? Mine runs good, but has no power. Trans makes all kinds of noises but still works. I'll prolly still do it regardless of getting parts, but I have a Yanmar diesel and a hydro trans that I want to swap in someday.
